W.R. Case Korean War Knife

My Dad, a Korean War Veteran, just turned 90 this year. In addition to the celebration I ordered a knife for him to commemorate the event. Sometimes timing is everything as recently W.R. Case came out with an entire series of knives for each of the battles the United States Armed Forces has been involved with dating back to World War II.

A tremendous amount of detail is shown on the front and back of each knife.

On the front, the words “Korean War” is marked along with a marker signifying the 38th Parallel.

Each knife has the following:

Case War Series Details

• Tru-Sharp Surgical Steel, Mirror Polished

• 3.125″ Clip Point and Spey Blades

• Engraved Bone with Amber Color Wash

• Slip Joint

• 4.125″ Closed

• 7.25″ Overall

• Made in the USA

In addition to World War II, and the Korean War, W.R.Case produced a knife for the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Many thanks to my Dad, to all soldiers who served our country, to W.R.Case and the people who designed this thoughtful series. I’d also like to thank Josh Basham and the fine folks at Red Hill Cutlery for securing this knife for my Dad.

God Bless America!
